In light of the murder of six UK nationals at a resort in Calais, France, D.I Fell and D.I Crowley are sent there to catch the seemingly invisible killer.
The only pickle, really, is that they have to pretend to be married.
Which is fine. It’s not like Aziraphale sometimes wants to smother Crowley with a pillow or kiss him senseless, or anything.
Crowley didn’t know whether to be disgusted, or impressed. The nature of Gabriel’s suggestion was bordering on demonic, and Crowley was nothing if not a little sinful. But being paid to go out with someone—with Aziraphale—just so Gabriel could get his rocks off with some girl? It felt, for a lack of being soft, wrong.
Crowley wants just one visit home to see his mum without her trying to fix him up with some nice young lady. He also wants very, very much to kiss Aziraphale, a lot. If only there was some way for him to accomplish both of these goals at once without having to actually ask Aziraphale out, which he is one thousand percent too chicken to do.
Aziraphale really wishes that his family would stay out of his (non-existent) love life. To avoid being set up (again), Aziraphale has taken to the internet in the hopes of hiring someone to masquerade as his boyfriend for the next family holiday. Enter Crowley, the florist from down the street, ready to make some heads roll.
anthony crowley has two options: be deported back to South Africa or force his kind and soft assistant, aziraphale fell, into marrying him so he can stay in the country. on one hand, being deported maybe wouldn't be so bad, but on the other hand, aziraphale is kind of cute. cue a fake relationship, a whacky family, a cute dog, and a small town that hasn't seen anything like this before.
Human!AU. Aziraphale needs a date to his brother's Christmas party to avoid getting set up with someone. Anathema suggests Crowley, the office bad boy. They go, get snowed in, and have a heart-to-heart that ends in a Happy Christmas.
From a prompt: Human!AU: Aziraphale needs a date for family Christmas. He invites the office rebel/bad boy, Crowley.
