Part 17 of The Immortal Inquisitor and High Warlock of Alicante
He intends to stay forever and now he can.
Part 2 of The Immortal Inquisitor and High Warlock of Alicante
As a final middle finger to the angels, for taking away her memories, Alec and Magnus get a very special wedding present, when they return to the loft after the reception.
Part 1 of The Infinity Rune
It's been nearly three months since Alec and Magnus got the rune for their wedding gift and now it's finally time for them to use it.
Part 2 of The Infinity Rune
A story of love and growth and effort told in six parts, spanning five decades.
Or, five times Magnus chose to be in his cat form without revealing himself to Alec, and the one time he decided to finally show him.
A new Warlock loses control, a protection spell does its best to do its job, and Alec ends up waking up in a world where everything's on it's head.
Or, Alec travels to alternate universes.
It's fun.
Well, it's not really, but Magnus is in (almost) every one of them, which makes it at least bearable. Still, can Alec please just go home now?
“Do you remember how Clary left letters before she…?” Alec sighed. Sure, they weren’t the closest, but she was still a friend and it wasn’t an easy thing for him to discuss.
“Forgot about all of us?” Magnus finished with a bitter huff. He’d spent countless nights cursing the angels for making him lose yet another friend. And twice, at that.
Alec swallowed down the lump in his throat and nodded. “Yeah. Well, she left a little something extra with mine. A gift. I wanted to tell you about it so many times but every moment just felt wrong or insensitive, all things considered.”
“What kind of gift?” Magnus inquired curiously.
“The idea is that you open it,” Alec prompts, fond impatience sparkling in his hazel eyes, “That way you get to find out what’s inside.”
He doesn’t quite manage to pull off the casual tone he’s obviously aiming for, and Magnus can see the eagerness and trepidation stirring under the playfulness of his words.
Which means that this – whatever ‘this’ is – has to be big.
Magnus had anticipated a quiet night in to celebrate their anniversary. Alec, however, has something important to ask him.
This is the one, Magnus thinks, his fingers tangling in Alec’s hair. This is the one I’ve been searching for.
or; A short glimpse into the lives of Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood in the year following their wedding, and the eternity following that.
What if Magnus never did ask again? Instead of stopping Alec’s wedding he accepts a proposal of his own. It’s up to a very much unmarried Alec to stop him from making the biggest mistake of his life. And to convince him that he’s worth the risk, after all.
